Heatcraft® Steam Coils – Reliable Heating for South Texas HVAC & Industrial Applications

·

·

At Tillman & Associates, we represent Heatcraft® steam coils, trusted for their durability, performance, and efficiency in both industrial and HVAC applications. Designed with condensate management in mind, Heatcraft steam coils ensure safe, even, and reliable air heating across South Texas — from Houston and San Antonio to Austin, Corpus Christi, Beaumont, and beyond.

Why Choose Steam Coils?

Steam coils are a proven and effective way to heat air in demanding environments. By capturing steam’s latent heat (change of state) as it condenses from vapor to liquid, these coils deliver powerful and efficient heating.

Key features include:

  • Condensate management design to limit water retention and prevent water hammer
  • Even steam distribution across the entire coil face
  • High- and low-pressure options for flexible applications
  • Durable construction built for industrial and commercial use

Standard Steam Coils

  • Single-tube design using 5/8″ or 1″ tubing
  • Steam supply and condensate return located at opposite ends of the coil
  • Uniform distribution achieved through precision header assembly design

Steam Distributing (Freeze-Resistant) Coils

For colder environments, Heatcraft offers dual-tube steam distributing coils (commonly called freeze-resistant coils).

  • Inner tube design with orifice-type perforations to direct condensate flow
  • Available in same-end or opposite-end construction
  • Same-end connections allow compact designs without return bends
  • Inner steam supply header warms the condensate return, reducing freeze risk

⚠️ Important Note: Any steam coil can freeze if condensate is not properly drained. Proper system design and installation are essential for freeze protection.

Serving South Texas Industries

Heatcraft steam coils are ideal for:

  • Commercial HVAC systems (air handling units, central systems)
  • Industrial air heating and processing
  • Facilities in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, College Station, Beaumont, Galveston, and Huntsville

Whether you need aftermarket replacements or new installations, Tillman & Associates provides the expertise and local support to keep your heating systems efficient and reliable.
