Immersion heaters for tanks
Review Caloritech immersion heaters for suitable liquid-heating and temperature-maintenance duties. Supply fluid composition, tank geometry, liquid levels, operating temperature and heat load so sheath material, watt density and protective controls can be selected.
Electric heating elements inside a vessel heat fluid as it passes through. Review Caloritech options against fluid compatibility, flow range, inlet and outlet temperatures, pressure, allowable pressure drop and required interlocks.
Review Thermon Caloritech electric steam or hot-water boiler options for plant-support duties. Provide required capacity, operating pressure and temperature, feedwater conditions and available electrical service.
Coordinate temperature sensing, power control, high-limit protection and the process monitoring requirements with the selected heating package. Identify low-level or flow interlocks and plant-control interfaces for manufacturer review.
Review Ruffneck CR1 Triton options for suitable non-hazardous washdown areas. Describe wash pressure, water temperature, chemicals, exposure and electrical service; the manufacturer's CR1 guidance limits wash water pressure to less than 70 psi.
Review steam or hot-water coil replacements for make-up air and plant HVAC systems. Include airflow, entering conditions, required discharge temperature and fluid pressure or temperature.
Match the equipment duty to the space and the production conditions.

Replacement cooling coils
Review chilled-water and refrigerant coils for existing air handlers. Identify fouling, corrosion exposure, cleaning chemicals, connection geometry and service access as part of the selection.
Start with the contaminant and the protection objective.

Steril-Aire
Cooling-coil and drain-pan UV-C
Review fixtures for microbial control on suitable HVAC surfaces. Provide coil dimensions, moisture conditions and installation access. HVAC UV-C is not presented as direct food treatment or a substitute for plant sanitation.
Review HEPA/ULPA fan-filter equipment for appropriate packaging, laboratory or clean work applications. Define the process, airflow and protection objective before choosing a unit.
Review industrial air-cleaning options for identified smoke or mist applications in suitable spaces. Combustible dust, hazardous atmospheres and food-contact requirements need specific review; do not assume a standard air cleaner is suitable.
Enclosure ratings and corrosion-resistant materials must match the actual washdown method and chemistry. A washdown rating does not mean suitability for every sanitation process.
02
Temperature and moisture
Identify room conditions, process heat and moisture, outdoor-air loads and condensation concerns.
03
Contaminant type
Separate noncombustible particulate, combustible dust, mist, odors and microbial surface control. They call for different equipment reviews.
04
Process and sanitation requirements
Provide the plant's material, construction and cleaning specifications. Equipment selection does not by itself establish food-safety or sanitary-process compliance.
05
Process-heater selection
Specify fluid properties, minimum flow or liquid level, required heat input, pressure, electrical supply and protective controls. Identify any food-contact, hygienic construction or cleaning requirements for manufacturer review.
An immersion heater places heating elements in a tank or vessel. A circulation heater packages elements inside a flow-through vessel. Selection depends on fluid properties, heat duty, flow or liquid level, pressure and temperature.
Can a standard industrial heater be used in direct food contact?
Do not assume so. Provide all food-contact, materials, cleanability and sanitary connection requirements for review of the specific heater and installation.
Is a washdown heater suitable for a hazardous location?
Not automatically. Ruffneck CR1 Triton is for non-hazardous locations. Provide both the area classification and washdown conditions when reviewing a heater.
Can HVAC UV-C replace the sanitation program?
No. The proposed use here is microbial control on HVAC surfaces. It does not replace validated cleaning, sanitation or food-safety procedures.
What do you need for a plant coil replacement?
Send dimensions, photographs, connection details, airflow, fluid or refrigerant conditions, cleaning chemistry and installation access. Include the shutdown schedule.
